MoCKiii - Mobility-Cockpit Cologne innovative - integrative - intelligent Real-time analysis of the traffic and emission status

Abstract

Forced by rules posed by the European Commission as well as national law, German cities must assure a certain level of air quality. In the scope of the project “MoCKiii” (Mobilitäts Cockpit Köln – innovativ – integrativ – intelligent), different measures are being implemented to sustain the actions performed so far and make them trackable. The presentation gives a raw overview on the key project contents which are implementing modern methods for transport management and air quality monitoring. This is followed by a deep dive into the main contribution of German Aerospace Center (DLR) to the project which is a system that delivers daily information about the modal split.
