Abstract
Germany has a diverse research landscape, with various institutions focusing on different space weather related topics: Sun and Heliosphere, Geomagnetism, Space Radiation, Ionospheric Weather, Atmospheric Physics and Astrophysics. This presentation provides an overview on German institutions and its space weather instruments. Moreover, engagement in national and international space weather boards and panels is vital for strong cooperation. Highlights on some committees are shown.
