Abstract
"Simulation of Urban MObility" (SUMO) is an open source, highly portable, microscopic and continuous traffic simulation package designed to handle large networks. It allows for intermodal simulation including pedestrians and comes with a large set of tools for scenario creation. Version 1.20.0: This release brings improvements in modelling temporary blockages and OSM data handling. It also fixes a regression in netedit that was causing missing connections. The most surprising fix was for giant motorway ring roads, mistakenly classified as roundabouts.
