Abstract
The effect of a time-varying free-stream velocity on unsteady airfoil coefficients is analytically derived for incompressible flow. An existing model of arbitrary motion theory is extended to account for variyble velocity. Results are compared and validated with Euler computations. Approximate solutions are compared to teh exact solution.
