Abstract

Natural disasters pose significant threats to human life, infrastructure, and the environment, necessitating advanced technologies for effective monitoring and mitigation strategies. In recent years, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems such as TanDEM-X have emerged as powerful tools, providing extensive information for remote sensing in disaster-prone regions. This paper summarizes key advancements in natural hazard surveillance through the utilization of modern multiparameter radar systems, with a focus on state-of-the-art technologies, practical applications, and future prospects.
