Abstract

When developing a system, one of the major tasks is exploring the architectural design space. When systems together achieve capabilities that they would not when operating alone, they are part of a system of systems (SoS). For SoS, there are interacting architectural design spaces at several levels. Investigating novel architectures can influence interconnected architectures. To determine and model these design spaces this paper proposes an approach using graphs formalizing architectural choices.
