Abstract

This report contains a description of the manufacturing of two generic CFRP-Slat sections foreseen as test specimen. The specimens were made out of CFRP (CF-PEEK) mainly used to demonstrate the feasibility of the chosen production technique, the design concept and to verify an impact analysis which was carried out by CRC. DLR supported these analyses with results of several impact tests on simplified flat plates.
