Abstract

The presentation dealt with recent developments in aeroacoustic measurement techniques and focus on uncertainties in wind tunnel measurements and new developments in microphones MEMS technology. It summarizes the state of the art in microphone array technology regarding the undelaying invers problem of identifying the aeroacoustic source, the uniqueness of this problem and the uncertainty in wind tunnel measurements regarding open and closed test section. The second part addresses the new possibilities and challenges of the use of microphone MEMS technology for microphones arrays in aeroacoustic.
