Abstract

Due to its high temporal response, Ru(phen) based temperature-sensitive paint (TSP) offers a high potential for several aerospace measurement applications. However, One major drawback is its ageing properties: the loss of luminescent intensity and sensitivity with accumulated illumination. This property is investigated and quantified, and a method is suggested to consider this for a typical wind tunnel application to obtain highly temporal resolved quantitative surface temperature information.
