Abstract
The increasing complexity of modern SAR missions requires for new calibration strategies and suitable reference targets. DLR operates its own calibration facility to provide an extensive infrastructure of reference targets. We are currently developing innovative polarimetric active radar calibrators adapted to the demands of next generation SAR missions. They will complement our calibration facility to provide support for SAR missions operating in X-, C-, and L-Band. This talk discusses the status and future prospects of DLRs Calibration facility and its different reference targets.
