Abstract

Large-scale volumetric measurements of the flow waround a commercially available quadcopter drone have been performed as part of the DLR project 'Urban Resuce'. Around 400.000 Helium-filled soap bubbles were tracked by Shake-The-Box Lagrangian particle tracking in a volume of nearly 2 cubic meters. This talk presents first results.
