Kurzfassung
The basis for condition monitoring and automation is the availability of data and the interconnection of subsystems. This is not a simple task in a solar thermal plant, especially because of the number of heterogeneous subsystems, huge amount of data, complex operation processes and high requirements regarding performance, stability and security. Earlier decentralized and typically "historically-grown" system architecture approaches lead to partly interconnected data silos, an increasing complexity of the overall system and operation issues caused by inefficient data pipelines, quality or integration issues. To address these challenges a data platform will be created that acts as a centralized infrastructure for interconnection, data management and further services to support data-based operation. The idea is to collect data from all data sources in the tower and make it available to other components in efficient, simplified and secure manner as the basis for monitoring and automation in the solar thermal power plant.
