Abstract

This keynote lecture highlights the research of the DLR Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology in the field of transonic vortex flows over delta wings relevant for future highly agile aircraft configurations. Selected results from wind tunnel experiments and CFD simulations are presented for a multiple-swept delta wing at transonic and supersonic flow speeds at high angles of attack.
