Abstract
This technical note describes the method to compensate the USO frequency variation onboard TSX caused by a failure of the USO internal temperature regulation circuitry. The root-cause is explained, countermeasures are introduced, and finally the necessary compensation law which is implemented in the operational TerraSAR-X (TMSP) and TanDEM-X (ITP) processors is derived.
