Abstract

This report summarizes the activities surrounding the initial build-in, commissioning and calibration of the gust generator for the rotor test stand Göttingen (RTG) free-jet wind tunnel with height 1600 mm and width 1200 mm. The calibration was performed in November 2022, and shows sinusoidal gusts up to 6Hz for 10° amplitude (8Hz for 5° amplitude), and good propagation of the gusts up to a distance of 1m from the nozzle exit. Poorer propagation was seen for 1.5 m from the nozzle exit.
