Kurzfassung
This paper describes an on-line design and a simulation procedure that allows rapid prototyping of time-variant systems, instationary processes and non-linear structures like adaptives systems. The proposed procedure is mainly based on digital MX filters whose coefficients vary with time in such a way that even structures can be modelled whose eigenvalues change very fast. In this paper two examples are carried out: Firstly an on-line or real-time system identification of activatable materials that are implemented into mechanical structures and secondly a brand-new on-line helicopter model that considers the structural dynamics, the aeroelasticity and the aerodynamics of the rotor blades. Using these MX filter based models a decisive progress in R&D can be achieved: Materials with time variant properties can be modelled, e.g. parameters and from of the constitutive equations can be derived. Wind tunnel test of helicopters can be comfirmed. Instationary processes can be interpreted. There is the possibility to get more understanding of the physics of non-linear and adaptive systems. The description of the proposed procedure is analytical, numerical and experimental.
