Kurzfassung
This paper prestens a reduced detailed kinetic mechanism for 1006 reactions involving 134 chemical species which describes the combustion of n-heptane, isooctane and thir mixtures in air. Whereas the reaction mechanisms for the species with 1-4 C-atoms have directly been taken from previous investigations, those for the C5-C8 species have been derived from them. The following experimental data obtained by means of shock-tube have been chosen to validate the mechanism: pyrolysis components of i-C8H18 and ignition delay times of n-C7H16 and i-C8H18 and ignition delay times of n-C7H16 and i-C8H18/air mixtures.
