Abstract

This deliverable contains the main material card data for the investigated materials Al2024T3, UD T700/M21, tri-axially braided AS4c carbon fibre reinforced M36 epoxy and tri-axially braided Zylon AS fibre reinforced Cycom 890 used for the high velocity impact simulations, the description of the chosen high velocity impact simulation approaches for the different materials, the validation of these simulations against selected high velocity impact test results and a very preliminary sizing of a fuselage skin for the load case "high velocity impact of a generic blade on a fuselage skin".
