Abstract

This document details the manufacturing and assembly of the TSSD leading edge developed within AIR-01-01 project NACOR. The TSSD concept is aimed to significantly reduce the manufacturing costs of HLFC leading edges and to improve their maintainability. The TSSD demonstrator represents the mid segment of a typical single aisle VTP and was defined as D3-10 demonstrator within the AIRFRAME ITD programme. The HLFC function of the demonstrator will be validated within #10 CfP ALVAR.
