Entwurf und Evaluation einer luftseitigen Kapazitätsprognoserechnung für den Einfluss von Lufttaxis am Beispiel des Flughafens Hamburg

Abstract

The extension of the current urban transportation system by the third dimension through airtaxi operations represents a potential solution for the congestion of metropolian areas. This thesis develops a modell as well as an prediction calculation for airtaxi operations and their capacity impact on airports. Based on a fast time simulation a capacity model is developed. The developed capacity model considers multiple aspects, such as the airtaxi configuraion and the integration possibilities. Collectively, three integration methods were analysed. Each of them owns a distinct dependence to the conventional air traffic. Afterwards, the results and insights were transfered into a prediction caluclation and implemented in a what-if tool, creating a supporting function to plan airtaxi operations at an airport. The tool was evaluated within a user workshop with airport experts. Based on the results of the examination further strategies to extend the model and the prediciton calculation are suggested. Through this work, a modell to calculate and predict the influence of airtaxis on airside capacities of an airport is designed. This is an important step for the practical implementation of individual airtaxi operations at airports.
