Kurzfassung
The Image Pattern Correlation Technique (IPCT) is a DIC method which combines the principles of stereoscopic photogrammetry with image correlation methods to determine corresponding areas in images. The applicability of the method to measure wing deformation has already been demonstrated for several in-flight applications. The method was further enhanced to measure the wing deformation of the A-320 DLR-ATRA during manoeuvres of high load in the frame of the DLR project VicToria. The wing was observed by two 26 MPixel cameras with a frame rate of up to 60 fps to cover nearly the complete wing at high resolution with a single stereo system and enable unsteady measurements. Furthermore, the preparation of the pattern applied on the wing was improved remarkably and the data processing was optimized especially with respect to the high data rates. A load depending de-calibration of the camera system was corrected by a recalibration procedure. The paper presents sample deformation results for a 2g – pull-up manoeuvre.
