Abstract

The report describes different options for the SpaceLiner Passenger Rescue System. Various designs of the separation motors are evaluated including solid motors and bi-propellant liquid motors. Baseline is the SpaceLiner solid motor for which a new multiple expansion nozzle is investigated allowing for increased area raito and hence performance. The SpaceX SuperDraco is modeled for understanding the liquid option and its constraints.
