Abstract

This report outlines initial results obtained during a simulation campaign to test proposed Flight Test Manoeuvres (FTM) developed within the EUROCAE WG112. The test campaign was conducted under the framework of the EUROCAE activities with participation of members of the group. The purpose of the tests was to perform the first evaluation of the FTMs developed to determine the suitability for use in future VTOL1 certification programs. The test campaign outlined in this report was conducted between 3rd and 7th May 2021 using the Air Vehicle Simulator (AVES) at DLR Braunschweig. Four test pilots participated in the test campaign.
