Abstract

TSK Flagsol Engineering GmbH through a cooperation with the DLR (the German Aerospace Center) and sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA) has developed a weather and energy production forecasting system csalled CSP-FoSyS for the operation of CSP power plants. CSP-FoSyS is both a meteorological and an electrical and thermal power forecast system based on satellite based nowcasting and numerical weather prediction based forecasts for the use in concentrated solar power (CSP) plants.
