Abstract

This thesis focuses on the feasibility of multispectral thermography, applied to CSP. Based as a theoretical starter point for further progression in this field and mostly development on a MatLab simulation tool , this thesis sets specific targets within this wider project such as the understanding of which spectral band is relevant for this kind of measurements (SWIR, MWIR or LWIR), also how many filters should be required (2,3 or more) and ultimately the fine tuning of the method such as the selection of optical bandpass filters. In the next chapters, these points will be evaluated and analyzed further.
