Abstract

As part of the Next Generation Car project at the DLR Institute of Vehicle Concepts, research is carried out on methods to configure faster FE-calibration processes in a resource-friendlier way. The aim is to reduce the required number of specimens and tests for the creation of material cards. This bachelor thesis presents the first steps towards the design of suitable test setups for multiple simultaneous parameter identifications based on advanced measurement techniques like Digital Image Correlation. Sensitivity analyses on the load behavior on virtual tests were performed to inspect the influence of a systematic change in specimen shape on the identifiability of the FE material parameters.
