Kurzfassung
The first part of this thesis focuses on the evaluation of the fully automated aircraft design by getting direct visual feedback about the design and its components like space, lights, interaction with cabin compartments, and other facilities in virtual reality to make design alive and realistic without building expensive mock-ups. Implementation of physics like gravity, collision, brings the blueprint alive. The second part of the thesis contains information on developing multi-user evaluation software, which allows users to connect globally and discuss and assess the cabin systems in the same environment. The last aspect of this thesis provides information regarding the boarding process generated in 3D with agent-based algorithms considering various groups of passengers. The quick change of agents’ physiological difference and motion parameters avails to simulate and evaluate the temporal and spatial slant of the boarding process.
