Abstract

Nowadays building integrated photovoltaics have to fulfil energy as well as aesthetic requirements for architects, investors and owners. Most coloured PV modules need an additional production step just for the colouring. We use instead the structural colour filter properties of a multifunctional oxide/metal/oxide (OMO) electrode for the colouring of a CIGS solar cell, making the production less complex. Here we present how the integration of high index TiO2 into the OMO multilayer stack can further increase the colour vividness.
