DLR Contributions to the Fourth European High-Velocity Database Workshop

Abstract

In November 1994 a workshop took place at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijke, The Netherlands, which exhibits some European activities in the area of simulation of (reacting) hypersonic flows. Eight test cases with two- and three-dimensional flows past simple and complex configurations as well as nozzle flows are discussed. Two synthesis papers on the cases for nozzle flows and for the flow past the standard body ELECTRE are presented as well. The collection of contributions ends with a paper on the status of DLR's CFD capabilities in November 1995. This paper has been given at the occasion of the US-Europe Conference on High-Speed Flow Fields in Houston, USA, in November 1995. All contributions were, initially, made for the publication in proceedings. Since this seems not to be possible any more, they are brought to the attentation of the interested community
