Kurzfassung
Energy system modeling increasingly includes electric vehicle fleets both as additional electric demands and as a source of flexibility for load-shifting since approximately 10 years. Recently, tools for calculating electricity demand and flexibility profiles are opening up, fulfilling a pre-requisite for easy reproducibility of research results. Two tools that are used for the analysis of sector-coupling effects between electricity and transport sector are emobpy (developed by Carlos Gaete at DIW) and VencoPy (developed by Niklas Wulff at DLR-TT). The talk sheds light on both tools’ concepts and compares output and research applications.
