Abstract

In this work a system-driven design process for integrated multifunctional movable concepts is presented. This process is based on a system design methodology that has been integrated into an existing multidisciplinary "Wing and Movables Process" With this overall process it is possible to define different system architectures and control surface configurations and to investigate their interdependencies. Based on the defined use case "Aileron Split" the capabilities of the process are demonstrated and the results are discussed.
