Abstract

The paper presents the computation of the fuselage aerodynamics of the CoAX 2D. The actual state of the existing configuration for different flight conditions is investigated. In addition, optimization potentials of the cell are examined. Finally, the influence of an optimized chassis was analysed and a reduction of the drag could be shown.
