Kurzfassung
High speed low latency vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications is an essential fundament of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Therefore, evaluating the influence of the radio propagation channel at application scenarios of ITS is of interest. So far V2V propagation channel on highway that is partially under construction has not been thoughtfully studied. This paper presents a channel measurement and analysis of V2V channel characteristics at C-band on highway under construction. We compare the obtained channel characteristics between typical highway scenarios and the highway partially under construction. The results reveal that the construction site causes significant change in signal propagation in terms of strong multipath component and spatial correlation. Particularly, the Kfactor decreases significantly within the highway section under construction.
