Abstract
Hochleistungsrechnen ist ein essentieller Bestandteil der Forschung im DLR. Unsere Aufgabe ist die Entwicklung professioneller paralleler Software. Unsere Arbeiten reichen von klassischer numerischer Simulation bis hin zur Entwicklung neuer performanter Datenanalyseverfahren. Was macht das DLR außer Luft- und Raumfahrt? Welche Projekte bearbeitet unsere Abteilung genau? Diese Fragen möchte ich in meinem Vortrag behandeln und freue mich schon jetzt auf anregende Diskussionen.
