Abstract
In this chapter an overview about the increasing vulnerability of critical infrastructures due to the introduction of smart technologies is given with the focus on the sectors Transport and Energy. Additionally, a cyber-physical system airport modelling approach is explained, which might be used to evaluate the functional state of airports during blackouts and cyber-attacks. Thus, mitigation measures and a digital, automated emergency management planning approach is explained.
