Abstract

The talk describes several speed-up strategies applied to a optimising linear energy system model (OESM). It highlights both simple as well as more sophisticated approaches. Additionally scaling on the spatial and temporal dimension is investigated. The research was performed within the BEAM-ME project which focussed on the application of OESM on high performance computers.
