Abstract
In MBSE tools, components (products) parameters are usually added by hand. To mitigate such a tedious and error-prone task, we need to have a common structure of product description that is machine-readable. The structured product description, e.g. an ontology, can be further used to create API, database schema, etc. In this talk we will present our spacecraft-parts ontology from the technical point of view, as well as the possible use cases and the lesson learned so far.
