The focus of the research is an investigation of the Earth´s magma ocean, volatile outgassing from the interior and subsequent formation of the secondary atmosphere. We analyse the chemical speciation of the C-O-H system and its influence on the early atmospheric composition. The volatile chemical speciation of the C-O-H system is analysed with an equilibrium and mass balance method and further the structure of the atmosphere is derived. The thermal emission from the atmosphere is calculated using a line-by-line radiative transfer code. The present model is applicable to investigate and study the atmospheric evolution of Earth-like exoplanets and look for habitability.
