Abstract

During the passage of high-speed trains through a railway tunnel, the safety doors inside the tunnel are subject to high pressure loads and can even be severely damaged. The purpose of this study is to investigate the pressure loads on the safety doors in more detail. The idea is to change the geometry or size of the cavity in which the door is located in order to reduce the pressure amplitude and therefore the loads.
