Abstract
Altogether, all technologies available on the market are able to detect leakages in vacuum bagging. For some technologies this detection is related with a high manual and cost inten-sive effort. Within the prior project ADeLe the different available detection methods have been compared and a market analysis has been performed. It has been shown that the most promising result has been the sensor based leakage detection in combination with the thermographic camera in order to identify the leakages fast, automated and reliable. In combination, both technologies are able to balance their respective detection limits and significantly reduce the time required. This resulted in the research task for the project TwoLIP of developing a prototype system demonstrating the functionality and advantages of the technology combination on an example component.
