Kurzfassung

The measurement system contains visible imaging and infrared thermography. The goal is to develop a hand-held device that is simple in service. Key function is non-contact energetic measurement, for which infrared cameras are used. This thesis is about the scanner and software development for analysing the energetic structure of a scene. First, there will be a brief overview of the theoretical background. The concepts of heat transfer are described such as thermal conduction, convection and radiation. Also, the U-value is introduced as a quantity for energetic evaluation of walls. At last, the concept of infrared thermography is described in detail and projected onto interior heat flux measurement. The scanner passed different steps during the progress of development. These steps are presented extensively; in fact the different versions of the scanner are presented and compared. Then, the used camera modules are described and the relevant functions explained paired with examples of infrared images. Finally, different impacts on the U-value are detected and reviewed, followed by realising the approach of analysing a wall energetically in a software. The thesis concludes with a critical analysis of mentioned software and a scope for future developments.
