Abstract

This thesis considers the major needs of future aviation propulsion and takes into account the International Cooperation for Aviation Research, hosted by the Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe. In this thesis a rating system and methodology is established to enable an assessment of the technologies involved. These technologies are listed in the EU Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda documents. The initial results of the evaluated technologies are summarized in Technology Sheets within this thesis.
