Abstract

Due to tolerances and sensitivities of composite materials and manufacturing processes, manufacturing deviations cannot always be fully avoided. This may lead to inevitable structural defects, resulting in additional effort and costs for non-added value rework. Within the workshop methods will be presented for analysing deviations during composite layup and curing processes and as well as for evaluating resulting structural properties.
