Abstract
In der Präsentation wurde die Zusammenarbeit von DLR-FK mit den Universitäten in Windsor und Waterloo in der "Research Alliance for Novel Crash-Modular Energy Absorbers Using Cutting Mechanisms" vorgestellt. Der von Prof. William Altenhof der University of Waterloo entwickelte Schneidabsorber wurde bei FK für eine erste technische Anwendung optimiert und qualifiziert. Die Ergebnisse der Entwicklung des angepassten Schneidabsorbers zur definierten Verzögerung in Schlittenversuchen, wurde präsentiert.
