Abstract

This paper proposes a two-step signal reconstruction method for spaceborne large along-track baseline multistatic SAR constellations operated with a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) under the Nyquist rate, which is required for the proper sampling of the SAR signal with a given Doppler bandwidth. The method first applies a bulk polychromatic reconstruction in wavenumber domain and compensates the range variance in range Doppler domain. The performance of the method is demonstrated with a reconstruction of a point target in high resolution wide-swath SAR system.
