Abstract
This report presents the SET-181 Task Group evaluation of metamaterials for defence and security applications through various applications. Main topics are considered to be essential for defence applications, such as cloaking, thermal radiation control, radar absorbers, broadband deflectors, meta-radomes and antenna miniaturization, microwave energy harvesting, IR signature reduction and signature management, portable thermophotovoltaics, and metamaterial-based enhanced optoelectronic devices.
