Abstract
We have developed a compact high-spectral resolution setup based on self-mixing in a THz QCL. It allows for real-time observation of various gas species and their interaction dynamics as demonstrated with an absorption cell filled with D2O/CH3OD. Such a system does not rely on a large output power of the THz light source and opens the path for sophisticated real-time observations of different gas mixtures far beyond their mere identification.
