Abstract

Addressing the large scale introduction of PEM Electrolyzer in a CO2 neutral energy chain, the reduction of precious metal content is one of the main challenges. Due to the fact, that iridium is the rarest metal in the earth crust, the enhancement of the activity, accompanied by the reduction of electro catalytic material for OER is a bottle neck.
