Entwicklung eines thermisch stabilen Aerogels, welches Temperaturen für bis zu 600 °C dauerhaft widersteht und somit für die thermische Isolation eines Abgaskrümmers in Frage kommt. Die thermische Leitfähigkeit des Materials soll unter Normalbedingungen unter 20 mW/k*m betragen.
