Abstract

This poster describes experiments performed in the EDEN laboratory at the DLR Institute of Space Systems in Bremen, Germany. For the experiment Micro-Tina super dwarf tomatoes were cultivated using a nutrient solution derived from urine. This so called C.R.O.P. solution is produced by microorganisms which are metabolizing urine products to nutrients useful for plants.
